As a young artist in Toronto, Laura studied life drawing for ten years and in 1972, had her first solo exhibition there.

Laura has exhibited internationally since she moved to England in 1982. Upon returning to Canada in 1997, she once again lives in Toronto and draws on both images from her travels through Europe and local Leslieville colour for her subject matter.

Her paintings can be found in the collections of Glaxo Pharmaceuticals, Canada, Janneau Armagnac, France and the Hampstead Town Hall, London, England.

Laura works primarily in watercolours and oils.
